For sale is a project I started some years ago and never had the time to complete, now I am moving with no place to store it so I’d like to pass it on to another builder. It is a 1982 Kawasaki KZ750 twin (frame/motor) on complete 2006 ZX6R front and rear suspension/wheels. The front suspension was achieved by having a machine shop press out the KZ steering stem and pin it into the ZX6R triple. The front just needs new steering head bearings to be complete. The rear will need some brackets hung for the ZX6R mono shock. Included are all the original parts – including a motor/parts from a 1976 KZ750 and multiples of most parts, and some custom parts (cafe seat, etc…) Also included are all the original parts from the ZX6R front and rear suspension. Both motors are kick start, the 76 is chain drive and uses points for ignition, the 82 is belt drive and uses electronic ignition. I intended to use the internals/electrics from the 82 motor in the 76 cases along with the 76 chain drive output shaft. I have valid/clean titles for both the 76 and 82 KZs. Also you will need to come up with a gas tank solution. This would make a really nice cafe racer for a skilled builder.
