Hello up for sale is a one owner 2001 Harley Davidson FLSTF. This Harley Fatboy is highly customized with no expense spared at the time of it being built. It was purchase new from what was Rockville Harley Davidson Battley Cycles in the Gaithersburg airpark.
The bike has been in storage for the past few years, and just got it back from a shop for a get it running (carb clean, new OEM Harley battery, and they recommend new handlebar bar bushings and had them replace them).
As mentioned above this wide tire Harley is highly customized and in 2001 paid total for the bike and customizing almost $40,000 at the time of purchase.
The bike has been custom painted and had them customize the sheet metal as well. The front and rear fenders are made by Milwaukee iron and had a fabricator fill and extend the fuel tank and install fuel level gauge, and to remove the OEM speedo/ignition switch Assembly and to relocate them.
As per performance engine work it has what the shop would call a stage 2+ kit. Which included port and polished big valve high flow heads, big bore high compression pistons, and Andrews high-performance cam and cam plate assembly with adjustable pushrods, performance Dyna 2000 ignition and coil, it has a Mikuni chrome HSR45 carburetor with a Wimmer performance velocity stack/breather assembly.
It has a performance machine 240 wide tire kit with a chrome swing arm and wheels with brake rotors and pulleys to match the style of the wheels. This had them remove the small and narrow 16” wheels and upgraded to wide 18” and running a 130/70-18 front and 240/40-18 rear. This was the best high-end kit at the time and still allowed the advantage of using the OEM belt drive.
As you can see in the photos the bike has a complete chrome front end and upgraded to the nacelle style headlight, custom front turn signals, complete crumb handlebar set up with performance machine grips. The bike has a custom T-bar style handlebar with bar mount dual gauges.
It has a chrome inner and outer primary housings, Side mount tag bracket, Corbin seat, chrome airhorn, Accutronix forward control kit, this is NOT cheap Ebay stuff on this bike. Too much to list…
As I mentioned above it was in storage for a few years I did take it to the shop in the beginning of the season to get it running. The paint is not perfect anymore but runs and shows great.
Must go, just don’t realistically have the time to ride it anymore.
