2004 Harley VROD – $40K build – lots of chrome –
7800 miles
Highly modified Harley VROD. Driven by 60 year old driver most of life, I got it next. He did all the work and I have a couple build sheets I will post soon. Garaged. I drive an electric Harley livewire now.
The original sticker for the stock bike was $20000 and I have a sheet of another $10K in mods, and there are more mods I dont have receipts for. Some of the more expensive mods are the $3500 wheels, rear wide tire kit, pulley kit, and screaming eagle exhaust.
Bike starts up, has been maintained, and needs nothing for the entire season. Runs like it should and is fast, having a Porsche designed water cooled engine. The only thing I noticed is the belt will make noise if there is dust on it. Maybe it should be sprayed with a belt lube, like a chain wax?

-last oil change – over a year ago at low 7000 miles
