Dives well–––solid, quiet–––like new! The engine runs perfectly with recent ignition coils and spark plugs. I only have used synthetic oil since my purchase of the car in Aug 2010 at 118,000 miles. Between annual oil changes, I add only half a quart of oil I’ve had much maintenance done such as recent Interstate battery replacement; air springs and the related compressor replacement; transmission overhaul. It has high-mileage-durability, Hankook tires with plenty of tread remaining. The car has an upscale audio system with a CD player in the dash unit. I think that the car has every optional extra except the solar/lunar roof!
There are no problems but the following.
The air conditioning compressor has a leak; it only holds its freon charge for about 5 days. It operates A-OK for that 5-day period. I see that Rock Auto (on-line) has a compressor and receiver/drier for $202. I guess that the labor for compressor replacement and the re-charging of the freon might be circa $500.
The trunk-mount CD changer no longer functions properly.
I have a clear Virginia title, owner’s guide, extra keys, remote fob, and many receipts. The CB radio is not included.
Email me your full name and phone number, and I’ll phone you ASAP.
