I bought this 1996 Bayliner Capri almost two years ago for my first boat that I actually own. I was skeptical at first buying a used boat, but I could not have found a nicer couple and the boat could not have been better than it has been. I was only the second owner. I have had zero mechanical issues, the only thing was had go wrong was a prop something, so we bought two new ones. One is on the outdrive and the brand new spare is in the ski hull. My son is getting older and we are looking to get a cuddy cabin vs a bow rider for him to be able to go under to sleep, etc. That is the only reason I am getting rid of this boat. I starts within seconds of cranking everytime, runs very smoothly and quiet. Plus this Mercruiser Alpha One 3.0 Litre LX Motor is EXTREMELY fuel efficient. We can ride for about 8 hours straight at full throttle or 12-14 hours of cruising on a full tank. Which a lot of times would last me about 2-3 weekends. Some of the specifics are below:
