Up for sale is my 1974 Honda CB360 project. I purchased it in a non-running state a few months ago after it had been sitting for some time, and have since got it running well and replaced mostly everything on it. It still needs a few more pieces to be rideable, but I no longer have the time to continue messing with it and need to clear the space.
I have receipts for everything I have done to and purchased for this motorcycle. A vast majority of the parts I used were purchased from Common Motor. It will also come with some extra parts and fluids I have collected over my ownership. There are videos of the motorcycle cold starting, hot starting, and revving at the end of the post. Both the electric start and kick start are functioning. Clean title in hand, no liens on it. Feel free to reach out to ask any questions, or to request see any more pictures. Please leave a message if I do not answer to the phone.
What I’ve fixed/replaced:
Rebuilt carburetor (done by Okinawa Joe in Harrisonburg, VA; replaced diaphragms and synced as well)
Cleaned gas tank (came from a different CB360, as the original one was not salvageable)
New points (everything is timed to factory specifications)
New ignition coils
New ignition condenser
New spark plugs, boots, and wires
New petcock and fuel lines
New cam chain tensioner and cam chain guide
Replaced most engine gaskets
New factory-style air filters (not pods)
Oil change
New front and rear sprockets (OEM sizes)
Rebuilt front forks (fork seals, springs, and fork oil all new)
New rear shocks
New upper triple tree
New tapered roller steering bearings (All Balls)
New tires and tubes (front and rear)
New brake shoes (front and rear)
New battery
New front brake cable
New wiring harness
New battery and ground cable
New seat plunger
Greased rear swing arm
New hardware where necessary (ex. engine mounts)
What it needs:
Chain installed (I have a new one from Common Motor)
Rear brake pedal installed (I have the parts, some are NOS and some came with the bike)
Turn signals (I have one original rear and one original front, and two fronts with shorter stalks)
Clutch adjustment
Backend of wiring harness attached (rear taillight, turn signals, etc.)
Paint (all original as of now, fading a bit)
